The performance of a dance group from Turkmenistan at the sixth China International Folk Dance Festival, which takes place in the city of Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, was a full house.
The colorful images of Turkmen artists who performed on the stage of the Xinjiang People's Theater were especially liked by the public. It is worth noting that the Xinjiang region is territorially the closest to Central Asia, and interaction with neighboring countries is actively promoted here, including in the field of culture.
Colorful events, concerts of folklore ensembles from Europe, Asia and Africa await guests and participants of the festival. About 1000 artists will present 60 performances to the public.
The festival will last until August 5, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Moscow reports with reference to the Chinese media.
