The Watan Cinema and Concert Centre hosted the concert of soul singer from United kingdom Joss Stone, which was dedicated to 30-year anniversary of the Convention on Child Rights.
The concert was organized by the Ministry of Culture of our country, the Embassy of Great Britain to Turkmenistan and the UNESCO Representative Office. … When she was 13, Joss Stone performed in the show at one of the stages of Great Britain.
Specific voice timbre and open performance manner have conquered the audience and producers.From that moment, her successful vocal carrier has started.She signed the contract and release her first album “The Session Sessions”.
Today, Joss is a winner of two BRIT Awards and one Grammy.The singer set the objective to give concerts in all countries of the world.Turkmenistan is 175th country where her wonderful voice sounded.

In the interview, Joss Stone said that it was difficult to sing Turkmen song as it has totally different rhythm and tune.However, it was interesting at the same time to interpret tender melody of mother’s love.
I think that Lyale Begnazarova was happy with our joint performance.I liked Turkmenistan citizens very much; they are open-hearted, hospitable and kind.I am happy I met them.
