Ashgabat Expands Municipal Fleet With 194 Vehicles

Ashgabat expanded its municipal services fleet with 194 units of specialized equipment transferred to the city administration. The delivery aims to strengthen sanitation operations and improve the maintenance of urban infrastructure.

As part of the upgrade, the city added 100 garbage trucks of various types, including side-loading and rear-loading vehicles, as well as container carriers with a capacity of up to 20 cubic meters. The new equipment will optimize the collection and removal of solid household waste in residential, industrial and commercial areas.

The road maintenance sector was reinforced with street-washing and sweeping machines, along with equipment for servicing engineering networks, including sewer-cleaning units and water tankers.

The delivery also includes construction and support equipment such as backhoe loaders, dump trucks, telescopic units, mobile repair workshops and service buses.

The fleet expansion is expected to increase the efficiency of municipal services and improve the overall condition of Ashgabat’s urban environment.
