Ashgabat Temporarily Restricts Traffic on Several Streets for Neutrality Day

Ashgabat will implement temporary traffic restrictions during celebrations of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.

The decision takes into account the heavy traffic in the capital, official Turkmen media reported Wednesday.

Restrictions will be in effect from December 8 to 12 on Garashsyzlyk Avenue, Bitarap Turkmenistan Avenue, and Turkmenbashi Avenue.

On December 12, 2025, Ashgabat will host an international forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, Neutrality Day, and the 30th anniversary of the country’s permanent neutrality.
