Ashgabat will host the 37th meeting of the Advisory Council on Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Population of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on October 17-18, the official media of Turkmenistan reports.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed Vice Premier Hojamyrat Geldimyradov to prepare for the forum at the appropriate level. This directive followed the vice premier’s proposal to hold the meeting in Ashgabat, which was presented to the Head of State for consideration.
The idea of holding the forum in the Turkmen capital was voiced during an online meeting attended by representatives of the authorized bodies of CIS countries, the Executive Committee, and other relevant organizations of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
