Azerbaijan Imports More than 8.25 Thousands Ton of Turkmen Gasoline

Turkmenistan exported more than 8.2 thousand. tons of premium Euro-95 gasoline to Azerbaijan in January-November in 2022, the Interfax-Azerbaijan news agency reported on Wednesday with reference to the Azerbaijani Government.

Export of Turkmen gasoline Premium Euro-95 to Azerbaijan for the corresponding period amounted to over $7.81 million.

Azerbaijan imported a total of over 96.5 thousand tons of premium Euro-95 gasoline for eleven months of 2022, which is 28 percent less compared to the same period of 2021.

Imports of Premium Euro-95 gasoline totaled $99.39 million, a decrease of 0.3 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2021.

Russia accounted for the 72.6 percent of the total imports of Premium Euro-95 gasoline, or more than 70.15 thousand 159.2 tons ($72.9 million).

The rest was imported from Romania (more than 7.28 thousand tons, equivalent to $6.5 million) and Belarus (431,75 tons, equivalent to $323.02 thousand).

At present the retail price of Premium Euro-95 gasoline in the domestic market of Azerbaijan is 2 manat per 1 liter.
