Belarus supports local manufacturers and importers

In Belarus, adjustments were made to the price regulation system, which was launched in the country a few months ago at the initiative of President Alexander Lukashenko, reports the “MIR 24” portal.

The price of goods now includes shipping costs to the point of sale or directly to the purchaser.Price regulation does not apply to non-food products of local production sold in company stores.

Importers of goods to Belarus will now be able to charge for international transfer fees.

Thanks to the policy of price regulation in Belarus, it was possible to slow down the rate of inflation. Prices for essential products (potatoes, onions, carrots and some other vegetables, as well as apples) have been “frozen” until May 2023
