Belgian Businesses to Visit Turkmenistan

Representatives of Belgian companies will visit Turkmenistan for talks on cooperation in infrastructure and industrial sectors, Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday.

Turkmen Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Gurbanov and Acting General Director for Multilateral Affairs and Globalization at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ghislain D’Hoop discussed the upcoming visit by European business leaders during a meeting in Brussels.

According to the report, the parties exchanged views on key issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda.

In particular, they discussed areas of cooperation in economic, cultural, humanitarian, and political fields.

Gurbanov and D’Hoop also considered the possibility of holding the next round of consultations between the Foreign Ministries of both countries at a mutually agreeable time.

In conclusion, the Turkmen Deputy Foreign Minister and the Acting General Director of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of further strengthening friendly ties and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
