Belgian cargo plane made first landing at Ashgabat International Airport

Challenge Airlines has launched cargo flights with a stopover at Ashgabat International Airport on the routes Ningbo (China) - Ashgabat and Ashgabat - Liege (Belgium), reports the “Turkmenhowayollary” Agency.

Challenge Airlines is a Belgian cargo airline based in Liege. The company specializes in air cargo transportation in Europe, America, the Middle East and Africa.

In addition to Challenge Airlines, the international airports of Turkmenistan serve the aircraft of such airlines as Cargolux Airlines S.A.S, MNG Airlines, Moalem Aviation, Mongolian Airlines and others. This contributes to the development of trade and economic relations of Turkmenistan with the whole world.

As we reported at the end of July, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium, Sapar Palvanov, held an online meeting with the leadership of the Belgian cargo airline Challenge Airlines, based in Liege.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the “Turkmenhowayollary” Agency.The parties discussed logistics issues, including procedures for launching cargo flights and other aspects of cooperation between Challenge Airlines and Turkmen civil aviation.
