Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship will allocate 400 thousand US dollars for the treatment of children at the Scientific and Clinical Center for Maternal and Child Healthcare in Ashgabat.
It was informed by the Chairman of Halk Maslahaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during his visit to the center today, the news program “Vatan” of the Turkmen television reports.
The funds will be spent on the treatment of children in this center, specified Berdimuhamedov.
As Nurmuhammet Amannepesov, the Minister of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, informed, there are 220 children in the country are currently in need of heart surgery. It should be noted that the latest and most effective AORTIC products are used to treat children with disorders and pathologies of the heart.
The Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship was established in March 2021.
One odd year ago the fund financed 35 operations to children in the country. Besides, “emergency” cars were purchased at the expense of the fund. Pediatric departments of hospitals in all five velayats received new special equipment.
