Since the foal was born in the first days of 2022, which is declared “The era of the people with Arkadag" in Turkmenistan, the President named him Zaman, which means Epoch in Turkmen.
A great connoisseur of horses, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov names a newborn foal not for the first time.The first foal born in 2019, whose motto was “Turkmenistan the Motherland of Prosperity”, was named Rovach (“Prosperous”) by the head of state.
Born on Novruz in 2021 - the year of the 30th anniversary of independence and the 140th anniversary of the Turkmen capital - he named Ashgabat.It is noteworthy that this was the first foal from the legendary horse named Akhan, which was seized personally by the President of Turkmenistan.
And as the head of state later said, this significant event inspired him to write a poem in the new, rich illustrated book "Ashgabat".And in April 2021, during a visit to the equestrian units of law enforcement agencies, the Turkmen leader named the newborn foal Esger (“Warrior”).
