On 5 July the session of Turkmenistan’s State Security council, which President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov attended, was held.
“Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports that the head of the Migration Office Meylis Nobatov made a progress reports on registration of foreign nationals arriving in the country.
The President said that the Migration Office should focus on ensuring the rigorous record of foreign visitors arriving in Turkmenistan on business or as tourists.
The President instructed to make sure the conditions for migration procedures for foreign nationals complying with international standards are provided during the Games.
It should be noted that during trips tourists entering Turkmenistan are obliged to be escorted by staff of travel agencies which work closely with supervisors from the National Security Ministry.
The Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games are scheduled to be held in Ashgabat from 17 to 27 September, 2017.
