On 29 August a regular session of the State Security Council was held in Ashgabat.
After being briefed by the Chairperson of Turkmenistan’s State Customs Service Yazdurdy Soyegov, President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov instructed to ensure more thorough inspection of cargo crossing the border, “Turkmenistan: golden age” reports.
In his turn the head of the State Migration Office Meylis Nobatov was charged with the task of providing high quality service to issue relevant documents for the visitors to the Asian Games.
Let us recall that on 15 August Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov announced that “recently the number of foreign nationals entering the country is on the rise” and instructed “to provide high quality migration services”.
