Brazil team lost to Croatia in the quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup

The Brazilian national football team was defeated by the Croatian national team in the ¼ final match of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The meeting was held at the stadium “Education City” in Al Rayyan. The main time ended in a draw - 0:0, in extra time the teams scored a goal each. Brazilian striker Neymar scored in the 105+1st minute, then in the 117th minute Croatian striker Bruno Petkovic tied the score.

In the penalty shootout, the Croats were more successful (4:2). As part of Croatia, Nikola Vlašić, Lovro Majer, Luka Modric and Mislav Oršić scored their penalty kicks.

In the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Croatian team will play the winner of the Netherlands-Argentina match, which will be broadcast today at 23:45 Ashgabat time.

The Croatian national team will play the semi-final match on December 13 at the “Lusail Iconic” stadium in Lusail.

The final match of the 2022 World Cup will be held on December 18.
