The inclusion of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi in the UNESCO List of Significant Dates in 2024-2025 is recognition by the world community of the Turkmen poet and philosopher as a personality of planetary scale.
This was stated by the executive secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, Hero of Turkmenistan Chinar Rustemova in an interview with the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
This was the reason why the legacy of Magtymguly Fragi went beyond national boundaries and became an integral part of the intellectual treasury of humanity, and the poet himself was recognized as a personality of a planetary scale, emphasized the executive secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO.
