The implementation of the construction project within the development of the fourth phase of the Galkynysh field will become a model facility characterized by advanced technologies, top-level management, environmental sustainability, and mutual benefit.
This was stated by Dai Houliang, Chairman of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), at the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Turkmenistan People’s Republic of China: 20 Years of Strategic Partnership in the Gas Sector.” The head of the corporation emphasized that at present, amid unprecedented global changes unseen in a century, turbulence in the international environment, and a profound transformation of the global energy landscape, the comprehensive deepening of ChinaTurkmenistan cooperation in the energy sector is of strategic importance.
In this context, Dai Houliang assured that CNPC is ready, under the wise leadership of the heads of the two states, to make every effort to elevate ChinaTurkmenistan energy cooperation to a higher level, thereby making a significant contribution to building a community of shared future between the two countries. “We adhere to the principles of high standards, strict requirements, continuous improvement, and the pursuit of excellence in advancing the construction project for the development of the fourth phase of the Galkynysh field, creating a model facility with advanced technologies, first-class management, environmental sustainability, and mutual benefit.
At the same time, we will actively explore opportunities for cooperation in new energy sources, oil refining and petrochemicals, and engineering services.We will strengthen the exchange and development of key technologies in oil and gas exploration and production, promote green and low-carbon development, and introduce advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data across the entire gas industry value chain, thereby enhancing the quality and modernization of our cooperation,” said the head of CNPC.
The forum held in the capital of Turkmenistan became a vivid platform confirming the strengthening of friendly ties and long-term energy cooperation between the two countries.
