Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Romania in the energy sector was discussed in Bucharest

The delegation of Turkmenistan led by the Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmenneft” Guvanch Agajanov took part in the regular meeting of the Turkmen-Romanian working commission on cooperation in the energy sector, which was held in the building of the Romanian Ministry of Energy in Bucharest. The website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports this.

The meeting noted the high level of Turkmen-Romanian cooperation, based on the principles of mutual respect and mutual benefit.

The Turkmen side confirmed that one of the main aspects of the country’s energy strategy is the continuation of the modernization and technical renewal of enterprises in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, the implementation of projects for the construction of modern gas processing complexes, including the production of gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, polyethylene, polypropylene and other gas chemicals products.

They also spoke about the widespread use of the latest resource-saving technologies and innovative scientific and technical solutions in Turkmenistan.

Based on the results of the meeting, the heads of delegations signed the corresponding protocol.
