Cotton growers of the Serahs etrap of the Ahal velayat of Turkmenistan began active preparations for the spring sowing of cotton. By the beginning of spring, 17.5 thousand hectares of arable land had been prepared for sowing cotton, writes the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
The etrap specialists analyzed the capabilities of each cotton grower tenant and the experience of their previous activities. Agricultural equipment and high-quality seed material are being prepared. Through the use of high-performance equipment, fields are leveled, watered, and fertilized.
Particular attention is paid to explanatory work on the main provisions of agreements with tenants. All cotton growers are determined to fulfill their obligations to produce cotton, the source writes.
