The city of Dashoguz witnessed a significant milestone on Wednesday with the inauguration of eight new four-story residential buildings, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media.
At the request of the Dashoguz city administration, the company Derkar constructed four new four-story buildings with a total of 80 apartments at the intersection of S. Turkmenbashi Avenue and Alp Arslan Street in the center of the region.
The village of Gulistan, the administrative center of the northern region of the country, saw the construction and commissioning of another four four-story buildings, each comprising 16 apartments. The city administration commissioned the project, with the company Demirbetonönümleri from Dashoguz serving as the contractor. Local private enterprises Ak bagt and Nurly badalga engaged as subcontractors.
Deputies of the Mejlis, representatives of regional and city administrations, public organizations, honored elders, and youth attended the opening ceremony of the new houses. Builders who distinguished themselves in the construction of the new buildings received valuable gifts on behalf of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
On the same day, the Daşoguzawtoulag production association of the Türkmenawtoulaglary agency received about 200 modern buses as donations.
