Days of Azerbaijani Culture are held in Tashkent

The opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani Culture Days was held at the Uzbekistan Palace of International Forums in Tashkent. The event was attended by representatives of the general public, literary and artistic figures, activists of national cultural centers, as well as creative youth, writes the UzA agency.

Over the course of three days, literary meetings, book presentations, cultural and educational events and exhibitions introducing Azerbaijani culture are planned in the capital of Uzbekistan.

Masters of art and young talents, famous artistic groups of the Azerbaijani people performed at the opening ceremony.

As noted at the ceremony, in recent years the bonds of friendship and brotherhood have been strengthening between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

In 2023, the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, was widely celebrated in Tashkent. Ceremonial events, book presentations and exhibitions dedicated to his memory were held at a high level.

Also, the Days of Culture and Science of Uzbekistan were held in the Republic of Azerbaijan, promoting cultural exchange between the countries.
