Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Azizbek Madmarov appointed Ambassador to Turkmenistan

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has appointed Azizbek Madmarov as the new Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkmenistan. The corresponding decree of the head of state was published today on the official website of the President of Kyrgyzstan.

Azizbek Madmarov worked in various positions in the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, worked as the head of a department in the CSTO Secretariat (Moscow). From 2006 to 2010, Azizbek Madmarov was the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan.

Prior to his appointment as Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Madmarov served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan from August 2018.

From May 2021 to August 2022, the post of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkmenistan was Talant Sultanov.
