Deputy Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan met in Ashgabat

Yesterday, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan A. Gurbanov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan B. Usmanov.

During the meeting, a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian areas, as well as the regional and international agenda, were discussed.

Regular meetings and negotiations at the highest and highest levels play a leading role in strengthening the partnership, the interlocutors confirmed, noting that trade and economic cooperation is consistently developing between the states.

Along with this, the parties noted the effective nature of direct ties between the regions of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The diplomats emphasized that the cultural and humanitarian direction is a key factor in the accelerated development of interstate relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
