1.The decree on the transfer to the reserve of military personnel serving under conscription, as well as on the next conscription for military service, was signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The document states: “To discharge from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan military personnel undergoing conscription service who have served the terms established in the Law of Turkmenistan “On Military Duty and Military Service” to the reserve in April-June 2024.

To conscript for military service in April-June 2024 those who do not have the right to an exemption from conscription for military service or the right to a deferment from conscription of male citizens of Turkmenistan who are 18 years old by the day of conscription, who have lost the right to a deferment from conscription for military service of citizens until 27 years”.

2. At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the submitted proposal to introduce the “Remote Banking” system for individuals by the State Commercial Bank Daýhanbank. Reportedly, this new banking service is designed to expand the range of non-cash payments and ensure the speed of payment transactions for citizens of the country.

3. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov blessed the start of the cotton sowing campaign in Turkmenistan. According to the order, sowing of “white gold” in Ahal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary velayats will begin on March 20, and in Dashoguz velayat - on March 27.

4.The State Concern “Turkmengas” is actively working to increase natural gas production, especially at the giant “Galkynysh” gas field. “Turkmengas” is effectively searching for sulfur-free gas deposits.

With the help of special equipment, production and appraisal wells were drilled in oil and gas fields, from which industrial inflows of sulfur-free fuel were obtained.In the coming years, the concern plans to continue drilling new wells to increase natural gas production and its safe transportation to consumers.

5.At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov discussed issues of preparation for the upcoming Turkmen-Japanese business forum scheduled for March 27 in Tokyo.

The event will be held with the participation of representatives of small and medium-sized businesses from the two countries.The business forum will discuss prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan in such areas as investment, industry, transport, logistics, as well as the private sector.

In addition, a presentation of work on the creation of the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan is planned at the upcoming World Exhibition “EXPO 2025” in Japan.
