Diplomats of Turkmenistan and Brazil held talks

The Permanent Representatives of Turkmenistan and Brazil to the UN Aksoltan Ataev and Sergio Francia Danese met in New York, Orient reports.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in various fields, as well as interaction on the platform of international organizations.

In particular, the parties agreed on parity support in the upcoming elections to the UN institutions. In addition, they discussed the possibility of organizing political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Brazil in early 2024.

The diplomats expressed their readiness to continue the tradition of mutual support for initiatives that are of particular interest to both countries. They also confirmed their intention to actively cooperate to achieve mutual priorities and further deepen the multilateral partnership between Turkmenistan and Brazil.
