An exhibition of works by two artists from Mary - Allaberdy Ovezdurdyev and Batyr Hajiyev - opened at the Exhibition Center of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan.
According to the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age", the artists presented a total of about 80 of their works.
The heroes of the plots on the canvases of Allaberdy Ovezdurdyev are often representatives of flora and fauna. The artist prefers the Art Nouveau direction.
Batyr Hajiyev captures the rich history of his region in his paintings. Landscapes from the environs of ancient Merv are often found on the canvases of his paintings.
Batyr and Allaberdy are not only comrades-in-arms, but friends in life, so this exhibition brought together their works.
