The organizers of the Golden Raspberry anti-award, which is awarded for the worst films of the year, have announced a list of candidates for 2024. The leader in the number of nominations was the fourth part of the action movie “The Expendables,” reports daily.afisha.ru with reference to Razzies.
Directed by Scott Waugh and starring Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren, the film received seven nominations, including Worst Picture, Worst Supporting Actress (Megan Fox), Worst Supporting Actor (Sylvester Stallone), Worst On-Screen Couple, Worst remake/prequel/sequel", "Worst Director" and "Worst Screenplay".
Second place with five nominations was shared by two films: the revival of the classic horror film "The Exorcist: The Believer" and the trash horror "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey."
Two big-budget superhero films - Shazam! Fury of the Gods" and "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantomania" each received four nominations.
Also competing in the main Worst Picture category are Meg 2: The Abyss, The Exorcist: The Believer, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey and Shazam! Fury of the Gods."
