There are no more than 96 hours to rescue the crew of the missing “Titan” bathyscaphe near the “Titanic” wreck, reports Mail.ru.
There are five people on board the bathyscaphe: British billionaire Hamish Harding, founder of OceanGate Stockton Rush, French professional aquanaut Paul-Henri Nargolet and British businessman Shahzada Dawood with his son Suleiman.
The ship with a bathyscaphe on board on Sunday morning went to the site of the sunken “Titanic” from the island of Newfoundland. Less than two hours after the dive, communication with the submersible was lost.
The search is conducted simultaneously by the US Coast Guard and Canadian Coast Guard. In the “Titanic” sinking area, they are trying to find a small bathyscaphe, which is supposedly at a depth of about 3000 meters.
According to experts, in order to save the members of the “Titan” team, there is no more than three days left - about that much oxygen should be enough on board the device.
