Export Trades at Turkmen Exchange For December 19-24: 43 Million

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week amounted to nearly $43 million, the country’s official media reported on Monday.

For foreign currency, the businesses from Turkey, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and the UAE purchased hydrotreated diesel fuel and aviation kerosene of Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern, and liquefied gas of Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern.

The foreign companies also bought plain dyed jacquard products and cotton yarn produced at the enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, and portland cement, produced at the enterprises of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan.

The Emirati companies additionally purchased cotton yarn worth 35.56 million manats of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 40 transactions last week.
