Turkmenistan’s Guwlyduz Plant Produces Over 96.4 Thousand Tons of Salt

Guwlyduz plant of the Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern, located in Turkmenistan’s western province of Balkan's Turkmenbashy district, produced more than 96,48 thousand tons of salt in 2022.

The enterprise thus fulfilled the 2022 production plan by 103.7 percent, the country’s official media reported on Thursday.

During the period, the plant produced 85.76 thousand tons of salt, which is 4,76 tons more than indicated in the production plan, according to the report.

The total production of food salt by Guwlyduz plant amounted to more than 31.43 thousand tons. Thus, the enterprise produced 11,43 tons of food salt above established production plan.

The length of the lake, where the salt is produced, is up to 60 kilometers, the width of the southern side is 5 kilometers, and the width of the northern side is 3 kilometers.
