Turkmenistan’s Guwlyduz Plant Produces 48 Thousand Tons of Table Salt

Guwlyduz plant of the Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern, located in Balkan velayat’s Turkmenbashy etrap, produced 48,160 tons of table salt in January-June period of 2021.

The enterprise fulfilled the table salt production plan for the period by 103%, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Saturday.

The enterprise also produces technical salt. The technical salt produced at the plant is widely used in the fuel and energy sector of the country for refining petroleum products.

The products of the plant are also used in the textile industry when dyeing yarn in different colors. In addition, technical salt is widely used during the heating season and in other spheres of economy.

The Guwlyduz enterprise ranks first in the production of salt in Central Asia and fourth in the world.
