Export Trades at Turkmen Exchange For March 13-18: $219 Million

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $219.22 million.

For foreign currency, the businesses from the UK, Afghanistan, Turkey, Switzerland, Scotland, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan purchased hydrotreated diesel fuel, motor gasoline, lighting and aviation kerosene produced at Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, while the companies from the UAE, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased urea and ECO-93 gasoline produced by enterprises of the Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.

Additionally, the companies from Turkey, China’s Hong Kong, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan purchased dyed and jacquard terry products, and cotton fabric for foreign currency.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased petroleum coke and polypropylene produced at the Turkmenbashi refinery and hand-made carpets for more than 21 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 86 transactions last week.
