Turkmenistan’s FC Arkadag will play against Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr in the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League Two, following the official draw conducted at the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in Kuala Lumpur.According to the AFC-approved schedule, the Round of 16 will be played over two legs.
The first-leg match between FC Arkadag and Al Nassr will take place on Wednesday, 11 February, in Ashgabat, while the return leg is scheduled for Wednesday, 18 February, in Riyadh.The Asian Football Confederation has officially approved the Olympic Stadium in Ashgabat as the home venue for FC Arkadag for the first-leg match.
Kick-off is scheduled for 18:45 local Ashgabat time.The second-leg match will be played in Riyadh on 18 February, with kick-off scheduled for 21:15 local time.FC Arkadag’s participation in the knockout stage of the AFC Champions League Two and the upcoming matches against Al Nassr underline the club’s growing international experience and reflect the continued development of football in Turkmenistan at the continental level.
