Foreign Businesses Buy Gasoline, Cotton Yarn Via Turkmen State Exchange

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week neared $2.391 million.

For foreign currency, companies based in Tajikistan and other countries bought gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR), and businesses from Russia, Turkey and Ireland bought cotton yarn, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Sunday.

Businesses from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Scotland and Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn and non-distilled crude fatty acids of cotton soap stock for more than 8.322 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 12 transactions last week.
