Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Palestine signed bilateral documents

The protocol on political consultations between the ministries of foreign affairs and the Memorandum of Understanding between the governments of the two countries on the establishment of a joint government committee were signed today in Ashgabat by the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of Turkmenistan and Palestine Rashid Meredov and Riyad al-Maliki, reports the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

The ministers also agreed to hold annual consultations on issues of mutual interest between the foreign ministries of the two countries, as well as within the framework of international forums.

During the talks, the parties discussed issues of creating the basis for business contacts, and also considered the possibilities of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Palestinian International Cooperation Agency (PICA).
