Foreign Traders Purchase Cotton Yarns at SCRMET

Foreign traders purchased cotton yarn at currency transactions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Wednesday, the press service of the SCRMET reports.

Business circles from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed an agreement to purchase cotton yarn from the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, while traders from Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan purchased cotton yarn from local enterprises. The total value of the deals was $3.7 million.

For the domestic market, Turkmen business people purchased polypropylene of D 30 C TPP type for 6 million 192 thousand manats and oil road bitumen Shepbeshek for 7 million 500 thousand manats.

Local Entrepreneurs also purchased Turkmen handmade carpets for the total amount of 84 thousand 835.85 manats.

Last week, traders on SCRMET concluded deals with a total value of $83.6 million.
