Former Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Turkmenistan becomes the new Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Kazan

Xiang Bo, who served as an adviser to the Chinese Embassy in Turkmenistan for 6 years, has assumed the position of Chinese Consul General in Kazan (RF), reports “Tatar-inform” news agency.

Today, on October 18, the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with the new Consul General of China in Kazan. The meeting was held at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Xiang Bo was born in January 1975 in Chongqing. He began his political career in 1998 as an attaché at the Chinese Consulate General in Khabarovsk. He held the post of adviser to the Chinese Embassy in Turkmenistan from 2015 to 2021.
