French Businesses Interested in Cooperation With Turkmenistan

Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) Dovran Hudayberdiyev and Philippe Gautier, Managing Director of MEDEF International, the network of French businesses, discussed during a two-way online meeting the prospects and opportunities for cooperation between the business circles of Turkmenistan and France.

The sides also agreed to soon organize a joint business forum in Ashgabat or Paris with the participation of the two countries’ business circles, Ashgabat-based Orient news outlet reported on Tuesday.

Following the meeting, Dovran Hudayberdiyev and Philippe Gautier signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the UIET and MEDEF International. The signed document will allow to expand cooperation between French and Turkmen businesses and to increase the economic interest of large foreign, and, in particular, French companies in Turkmenistan.

MEDEF International is a non-profit private-funded organization, created in 1989 by MEDEF, the French Business Confederation. MEDEF International is the most representative organization of the French private sector at an international level.
