French Gourmet Dinner’ or ArtIst Theater’s Creative Project

Last Saturday evening, a stage adaptation titled French Gourmet Dinner’ premiered shortly before, was performed at the ArtIst Theater. The fact that some fans of the creative theater company came to watch the production for the second time and to be drawn into the intriguing twists and turns in the adaptation of the comedy by renowned French playwright Marc Camoletti speaks for its success.

Skipping ahead, I would like to point out that plots of the plays by the comedy writer and master of vaudeville revolve around infidelity, complicated and often comical relationships, and love affairs involving several people.

By the way, Marc Camoletti’s Boeing-Boeing’ was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most performed French play in the world. …The production starts with a scene showing one of the rooms in a farmhouse.

A husband, whose wife, Jacqueline, is going to visit her mother, has invited his mistress to spend time at his farmhouse. But Jacqueline decides to stay at home, beginning to suspect that there is something wrong.

What is more, Robert, her husband’s close friend and her secret lover, pays an unexpected visit to them.On top of that, her husband has arranged for a chef to cook gourmet delights for him and his mistress since it is her birthday… Suzette, the chef, only complicates things further adding to the general confusion so that all of the characters are forced to improvise and play different roles.

Such a piquant French dinner … “Dinner is served!” Jacqueline said at the end of the first act, and invited members of the audience to come to the foyer. The out-of-the-ordinary theater had an unusual intermission between the two acts.

Actor Vasily Andronov (who plays the role of Robert) held an original and entertaining quiz for the spectators.Winners of the quiz received free tickets to the upcoming performance.

A theatrical poster showing the cast of French Gourmet Dinner’ hung on one of the walls in the foyer. The wall also has comments written on it by audiences, which are mostly favorable or enthusiastic. - We do our best to build a close and intense rapport with theatrical enthusiasts, taking their opinions and tastes into consideration, actress Tatiana Ovezmuradova said in an interview. “The Wall of Comments” provides audience members with the opportunity to openly share their emotions and leave unbiased reviews.

It is high time to meet the cast of French Gourmet Dinner’: Igor Annaklychev, a production director, who also plays the part of muscular-looking George; Rishat Kanebetov as Bernard, Tatiana Ovezmuradova as his extravagant wife Jacqueline; Vasily Andronov as charming and timid Robert; Nina Supanko as Suzanne, George’s mistress; Anush Potarak as the cook, who quickly recognizes the opportunity to earn some extra money.

The witty comedy has captivated audiences with its exquisite humor and French charm.
