The state information agency TDH reports that on 3 August President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov held a meeting with ministers where he instructed that the AIMAG participants are provided with high quality domestic products including textiles, food and souvenirs.
The souvenir merchandise will be sold at the venues of sports contests and shopping centres located near the Olympic village will be open round-the-clock.
The Minister of Agriculture and Water Economy and the state Food Processing Industry Association will be responsible for providing food for the Games.The Union of Industrialists was charged with the task of setting up food outlets for athletes, members of official delegations, mass media representatives and staff during the Games.
The State Public Health Service will be in charge of exercising control food storage and cooking.
Let us recall that a resolution was signed on 7 July pursuant to which the business entity Gül Zaman and Swiss-based Gourmet Sports Hospitality AG will provide catering for the Games participants.
