The State Association "Turkmen atlary" ("Turkmen horses") will be allocated funds from the Stabilization Fund of Turkmenistan for further modernization of equestrian complexes, improvement of conditions for breeding horses, improvement and development of equestrian sports and horse breeding art, and improvement of living conditions of horse breeders.
The corresponding Decree was signed today by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, announced the news program "Watan" of the Turkmen television.
The amount of allocated funds is not informed.
Let us remind you, that the Stabilization Fund in Turkmenistan was established in 2008 in order to avoid the negative impact on the national economy of the global economic and financial crisis and reduce the dependence of the country's economy on the fuel and energy complex.
As previously reported, the funds of the fund will be directed to the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan, allocated in the form of transfers for the implementation of various budget programs, the introduction of modern technologies and the latest equipment.
It should be noted, that in Turkmenistan they pay increased attention to the breeding of horses, equestrian sports.In all regions of the country, equestrian sports complexes that meet world standards have been built and put into operation, sculptural compositions of the famous “Polatly” and “Yanardag” horses have been erected.
Ahal-Teke horses, which are the elite among the horses of the whole world, are considered one of the national treasures, the heritage of the people.
On the last Sunday of April, Turkmenistan celebrates the Day of the Ahal-Teke Horse. On this day, festive races with a solid cash prize, exhibitions dedicated to Ahal-Teke horses, equestrian sports shows, and concerts are held.
