Islam Yakubov, an entrepreneur from Shabat District in Dashoguz Province, is preparing a new line of beekeeping products to mark the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. The range will include propolis, royal jelly, bee bread, and honey with various types of nuts under the Genç brand, the Rysgal newspaper reported Monday.
Yakubov has been engaged in beekeeping since 2011. His family farm currently manages around 1,500 bee colonies. This season, the harvest is expected to reach 4.55 tons of honey. The assortment includes 10 types of honey, with demand growing due to its natural taste and quality.
According to the report, the entrepreneur plans to increase production to 2325 tons per season.
The enterprise is equipped with modern facilities, including washing and packaging areas, storage for finished products, a laboratory, and additional units. This infrastructure allows the farm to expand production capacity and introduce new products to consumers.
Since the beginning of the year, the farm has also launched “Chocolate” and “White” honey varieties.
