Google moves smartphone production out of China

Another tech giant, following Apple, is withdrawing the production of its gadgets from China. So, some batches of Google Pixel smartphones will now be manufactured in Vietnam, reports secretmag, with reference to The New York Times.

Earlier there was information that Apple plans to start production of the iPhone 14 in India. Similar measures are being considered by other companies. At present time, many major players have already relocated their production from China.

For instance, Apple manufactures iPads in northern Vietnam, Microsoft supplies Xbox game consoles from the same country, and Amazon manufactures Fire TV devices in Chennai, India. Despite this, China still remains the world's dominant manufacturer of consumer electronics.
