The health of numerous children in need of care has been restored at the expense of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said in his speech at the Halk Maslakhaty meeting in Ashgabat on Sunday.
He added that the state and the Fund have sufficient resources to continue these activities, the country’s official media reports.
"People's health is not only the main wealth of the country, but also a solid foundation for the happy life of present and future generations of the Turkmen people," Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.
The Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty stated that the Charitable Fund pays special attention the well-being of children and teenagers who have been left without parental care or guardians.
During his speech at the Halk Maslakhaty meeting, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also urged the continuation of the proud traditions set by ancestors.
