Turkmenistan Aims to Boost Cooperation With Azerbaijan

In a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the country's Independence Restoration Day, Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his willingness to work together with Azerbaijan to bring Turkmen-Azerbaijani cooperation to a higher level, the official Turkmen media reported on Tuesday.

"The Republic of Azerbaijan has achieved new heights in the social and economic sectors and confidently continues to move towards increasing its authority in the international arena.We attach great importance to the brotherly relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

I express willingness to continue to make every effort with you to bring Turkmen-Azerbaijani cooperation to a higher level," states the message.

On this favourable occasion, the Head of State conveyed his sincere wishes to President Ilham Aliyev. He expressed his well-wishes for good health, happiness, and well-being to President Ilham Aliyev. Additionally, he extended wishes for peace, further progress, and prosperity to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, also sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev and the brotherly people of the country on the occasion of the Day of Restoration of Independence of Azerbaijan.
