President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Azerbaijan joining the Central Asia Consultative Meetings as a full member.
According to the APA news agency, the Turkmen leader made the statement during the 7th Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State, held Sunday in Tashkent.
“I congratulate President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Azerbaijan joining the Central Asia Consultative Meetings as a full member,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov said.
The heads of Central Asian states also adopted a joint statement following the 7th Consultative Meeting held on Nov. 16 in Tashkent.
