Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty chamber of Turkmen bicameral parliament Milli Gengesh, on Saturday visited the new administrative center of Ahal province that is under construction, and held a meeting with Deryageldi Orazov, the Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the new city and Shamukhammet Durdyliyev, the Mayor of the new city.
The meeting addressed issues related to ensuring the high quality of construction and meeting deadlines for commissioning of facilities.They also presented a detailed report on the work of the country’s private construction companies, as well as innovative methods and best practices used in the construction of facilities was presented during the meeting, the country’s official media reports.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated that the main requirement is to ensure the high quality of construction of the new city and its implementation in accordance with the established plan and taking into account environmental standards.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also accessed the progress of construction works of the new administrative center of Ahal province, types of building materials used and building designs. The Halk Maslakhaty Chairman emphasized that it would be advisable to discuss the presented designs, projects and proposals for equipping medical facilities with specialized specialists.
The construction of the new administrative center of Ahal province began in April 2019.
