The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Friday met with the Secretary General of the Qatar Equestrian Federation Sheikh Ahmad bin Nooh Al-Thani and the President of the Eurasian Equestrian Association Marina Sechina.
They arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the celebrations on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge and Student youth, according to the official Turkmen media.

During the meeting, Sheikh Ahmad bin Nooh Al-Thani said it was a great honor for him to present the Aba Annayev International Horse Breeding Academy with an Honorary Certificate from the Asian Equestrian Federation as the first International Horse Breeding and Equestrian Academy in the region, which has the best opportunities and advantages in training highly qualified specialists.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people expressed his gratitude for the certificate. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated that Turkmenistan is the birthplace of the Akhal-Teke horses, known throughout the world for their agility and grace, and stressed the existence of great prospects, taking into account the intensification of ties with the Qatar Equestrian Federation.
Meeting with the President of the Eurasian Equestrian Association Marina Sechina
President of the Eurasian Equestrian Association Marina Sechina stressed that it was a great honor for her to present the Honorary Certificate of the Eurasian Equestrian Association for the establishment in Turkmenistan of the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people expressed gratitude for the presentation of the certificate, noting that this is another evidence of international recognition of the far-sighted policy of Turkmenistan for the integrated development of horse breeding and equestrian sports.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that there are great opportunities for building up cooperation in the field of horse breeding and equestrian sports. He also stressed that cooperation in the field of equestrian sports, in organizing competitions and training athletes has great prospects and highlighted the importance of mutual experience in this direction.
On the Day of Knowledge and Students Youth on Friday, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening ceremonies of new educational institutions in the city of Arkadag.
