1.Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, speaking at the high-level conference “One Belt, One Road” in Beijing, noted that the commissioning of a gas pipeline from Turkmenistan to China in 2009 marked the beginning of the formation of a new architecture of relations in the energy sector on the continent and opened up prospects connecting other states to the project on a mutually beneficial and equal basis.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people also spoke about plans to expand the geography and volumes of supplies of Turkmen gas and electricity.

2.Within the framework of the “One Belt, One Road” forum, high-level meetings were also held on the development of transport communications, environmental projects and the digital economy.

Six conferences were held on the topics of foreign trade relations, cultural and humanitarian ties, interaction between think tanks, promotion of interregional cooperation and maritime projects, as well as a large meeting of business representatives.

The high-level meeting ended with the adoption of a number of initiatives.In addition, the participants signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on the joint implementation of the Action Plan for the development of “green” science and technology in the Central Asian region.

3.Within the framework of a special cultural program prepared for the wife of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Ogulgerek Berdimuhamedova visited the Museum of Women and Children of China, where the exhibition “Turkmenistan - the heart of the Great Silk Road” was held.

The exhibition is dedicated to Turkmen carpets and objects of decorative and applied art.

4.Within the framework of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan taking place in Turkmenistan, a round table meeting was held in Ashgabat, at the Museum of Fine Arts, dedicated to the issues of preservation, study and development of folk crafts and crafts.

As noted, the Turkmens and Tatars are widely known as peoples who have made a significant contribution to the world cultural treasury, thanks to their glorious history, rich cultural heritage, customs and traditions, material and spiritual values.

Those present were familiarized with the work being done in Turkmenistan to preserve folk traditions and create conditions for the development of crafts.Separate messages were devoted to the artistic features of Turkmen jewelry, Turkmen carpet, embroidery and ceramics.

5.Turkmenistan is preparing to host the 28th International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan 2023”, which will be held from October 25 to 27 in Ashgabat.

At the forum, Turkmen specialists will present promising investment projects in the country's fuel and energy complex.Projects will include further development of the “Galkynysh” field, construction of the TAPI gas pipeline, optimization of onshore oil and gas production, development of fields in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, as well as projects in the field of renewable energy sources.

It is expected that the exhibition will demonstrate the achievements of the industry in accordance with modern trends.This will help strengthen partnerships in the oil and gas sector and support the interests of Turkmenistan at the global level.
