As “Chronicles of Turkmenistan” has previously reported, passenger bus service has been recently operating only in the direction of health resorts. For examples, there has been bus service between Ashgabat and Bairamali.
Starting from Monday, 27 July, 2020 passenger bus service has been totally suspended. Health resorts located in Bairamali, Mollakara and Archman have been closed down until further notice.
Passenger train travel has also been restricted in Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen provinces are currently connected only by air service. However, we are receiving reports that tickets for these flights can be purchased for triple the price.
