In Ashgabat, the action “Donate blood, let life pulsate in the world!”

On June 14, progressive humanity celebrates World Blood Donor Day. Voluntary blood donation campaigns are held everywhere.

Ashgabat also celebrates this important day for people's health today. A blood donation campaign started at the International Center for Surgery and Endocrinology at 9:00, according to the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”.

The main participants were doctors from nearby clinics. Everyone who wants to donate blood can join the action, thus giving life and health to everyone who needs it.

This year, the main theme of the World Day campaign was the slogan “Donate blood, let the world pulsate with life!”. This year's campaign focuses on the role of young people in ensuring a safe supply of blood.

The main goal of the annual campaign was and remains to express gratitude to blood donors around the world and to recognize the potential of young people as partners in health promotion.

The overall goal of World Blood Donor Day is to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products for transfusion, and the value of voluntary blood donation for national health systems.

The date serves as an occasion to urge governments and national health authorities to ensure adequate resources and systems and infrastructure to expand free voluntary blood donation.

Safe blood, blood products and blood transfusion services are an important part of medical care and public health. This work saves the lives of millions of people around the world every day and improves the quality of life for many patients.
